Belive it or not, these delapidated old barns and buildings used to be one of the hot spots in Davidson County. "The Cow Palace" was a great restaurant my family used to patronize on many a Sunday after church. The barn was also a dance hall and it was there I competed in my firts Battle of the Bands when I was in High School. If I remember correctly we came in 2nd, but it was fun nonetheless. I don't know if there were ever any horses there, but Laurie had been bugging me for sometime about painting her Champion Paint horse "Indigo." I thought it would be kinda funny having horses at the Cow Palace.
