The Mike Helsabeck Collection Announces
Limited Edition Art Release
Lexington, NC – August 3, 2007 – The Mike Helsabeck Collection announces the release of Lexington, North Carolina artist Mike Helsabeck’s latest Limited Edition Giclee Reproduction. The issue size is 250 with 20 Artist Proofs and is available now online and at the shop in the Shoppes at Vineyards Crossing on the property of The Childress Winery.
The painting entitled “Redheads at Lookout” features a scene on the Core Banks of North Carolina. The image displays the Cape Lookout Lighthouse at sunrise while the moon is still overhead causing the sky to be a stunning color.
Helsabeck is currently serving his third consecutive year as NC Duck’s Unlimited artist of the year and has been the featured artist of the NC Wildlife Resources Commission in 2006, 2007 and for upcoming 2008. In 2006, he was selected to create the painting of the new Greensboro skyline for the 100th anniversary of the Greensboro Merchants Association. His artwork has been featured by the NC Waterfowler’s Association, the National Wild Turkey Federation, the NC Wildlife Habitat Fund, and Quail Unlimited. His gallery, “The Mike Helsabeck Collection,” located at The Shoppes at the Richard Childress Vineyards opened in October 2006 and Helsabeck and Childress produced the 2006 NC Duck’s Unlimited limited edition wine collection. He has also worked with local Lexington wine maker, Sid Proctor to produce and label a signature wine sold only in his shop.
